CONTOUR003

CONTOUR003 reduces the currently selected source image in Photoshop down to wroughly 18 shades of grayscale represented as a sequence of vector traced shapes which are stacked hierarchically in the Layers panel. This Stipplr Action can be used as a catalyst to create contour-map styles typically found in popular political poster styles made popular by graffiti street artist Sheppard Fairey.  While this Action will not generate the various colours found within the source image it can serve as the foundation on which the designer can refine the contour linework and add colours manually to complete the vector illustration.
