GRAYSCALE006 creates a wroughly 64 shade vector shape grayscale representation of the currently selected source image in Photoshop.  The Stipplr Action makes use of custom Adjustment Level settings combined with Color Range selection and clipping paths to eventually generate a sequence of vector shape layers that are each assigned a predetermined fill and opacity setting.  As the vector shapes are layered above each other their opacity levels help to create the higher contrast areas where the vector shapes overlap — the vector shapes generally do not overlap often in brighter areas and as such the details are much lighter.  The overall effect is an acceptable grayscale representation of the source image. The contour lines within the results typically contain jagged edges, in some photos the jagged edges can lead to errors due the the creation of complex vector paths (a modal will appear to warn you) — the Stipplr Action tries to mitigate these warnings by applying Filters which reduce the noise and add a soft blur to the source image. The results tend to have a smoother and more organic feeling, almost like a water colour effect. This Stipplr Action is can take a while to complete depending on how large your source photo is.
