HALFTONE001 is a fine halftone pattern texture of dots repeating along 45 degree diagonals commonly used to simulate a continuous mechanical tone.  Also referred to as a screentone, these halftone dots are ideal for simulating an old black and white printed newspaper or comic book when the dot size is not uniform across the entire image.  This Stipplr Action creates a tinted halftone representation of the selected image in Photoshop, it does this by cloning the selected layer and then applying a series of Filter Galleries to the haftone pattern which causes the dots to react with the contrast levels in the cloned image layer.  The end result is a graphic image whoes dots change shape and size based on whether or not the dot was over a dark area of the source image or over a light area.  The dots disappear completely over bright or solid white areas.  Results are saved as a vector shape layer contained within a Smart Object.
