HALFTONE002 is a series of halftone dots repeating on a 45 degree diagonal.  This pattern of halftone dots is often used to simulate a continuous tinted tone.  Similar to HALFTONE001, this pattern is slightly bolder even though the dots are rendered at the same angle and frequency. Sometimes called a screentone, these halftone patterns are great for recreating a printed newspaper or comic book effect.  Start by selecting a single image layer in the Photoshop document, the Stipplr Action will clone the selected layer and apply a set of Filters to the screentone pattern causing the dots to become affected by the contrasty portions of the source image.  The final result is a vector shape graphic image with variable size dots, the source image is, in a sense, etched into the tinted halftone pattern.  For additonal resources about how to maximize the effect of the Stipplr Actions on your photos please read through the tutorial section on this site (link at top).
