POLKADOT001

POLKADOT001 is a repeating pattern of evenly spaced dots running diagonally at 60deg. Polka dots are similar to benday and halftone patterns seen in old newspapers except they tend to be much larger and often are not aligned (this pattern is strictly aligned and not random). The Polka Dot pattern will be repeated across the entire canvas area of the document while simultaneously trying to simulate the currently selected image layer in the Photoshop document.  As the pattern repeats across the image it will react to changes in contrast and cause disruptions to appear in the polka dot pattern being generated by the Stipplr Action script.  When complete, the resulting vector shape layer is stored within a Smart Object layer directly above the source image layer in the Layer panel.  The vector paths can be exported for editing in Illustrator or other vector application.  Stipplr Actions work best when layered with results from other Stipplr Actions, for ideas, tips and tricks please review the tutorials section on this site.
