Rail Road Crossing Bridge Into Rolling Mountains
This is a colour photo of a set of rail road tracks heading over a bridge crossing out into the country side with rolling mountains. There are actually 2 sets of tracks crossing the bridge: the currently used track is presented in the centre of the photo and has a very shinny surface where the wheels, weight and friction, from the train help to give the track an almost mirror-like polish. The original tracks can be seen on either side of the centre rails, pushed aside rather than removed from the bridge. A serviceman’s walkway with railing can be seen on either side of the rail road, the walkway is only wide enough for 1 person to walk safely across.
